A fabric defined by a highly symbolic floral motif whose protagonist is the chrysanthemum, inspired by Japanese "Obi" belts. The asymmetry of the pattern, in which the flowers are repeated in ever different compositions between the lines, creates a Japanese garden in the form of a jacquard.

The warp and weft of an idea

A drawing with a long and rich history, whose graphic incarnations have accumulated a variety of symbolic and conceptual implications over the centuries, is translated into the language of weaving. In Japan, the chrysanthemum, historically associated with the nobility and today with the imperial family, is a traditional motif for obi wearing kimonos and ceremonial robes. In Kiku, it brings the delicate balance of harmony and asymmetry that characterizes natural beauty, supported by the complexity of an intertwining of different types of weaves. The flower moves freely between the lines, escaping any duty of regularity. A use "in fragments" allows you to compose an ever-changing flower garden: a Japanese garden in the form of jacquard, animated by the grace of forms and by a meticulous textile mastery.
